Wells Fountain Poets, Monday 5th June, 8pm, Rose and Crown, St John Street, Wells (BA5 1SW)

I’ll read for 1/2 hour and there is also an open floor for poetry readings later.

From Wells Fountain Poets Website:

Next month we shall be meeting in the Cocktail Bar at the back of the Rose and Crown, St John Street, Wells (BA5 1SW) on MondayJune 5th, 7.45 for 8pm start. Free parking round the corner in Broad Street or at the Bus Station car-park.
The featured poet on this occasion will be Gram Joel Davies – see below.

The charge is normally £2. Meetings start promptly at 8pm and finish about 9.30 or 10. They are friendly and informal. There is a lot of laughter and occasionally a few tears. We listen in a spirit of respect to every poem, whether it comes from a published poet or a complete beginner. Each reader gets a chance to read two poems. Some people come just to listen, and some listeners become contributors.

See you there!
